Witnesses are very important in a lawsuit. Even though you may believe that the
circumstances are very clear, there often are two sides to a story. Therefore, it is important to
make contact with the witnesses as soon as possible. You must provide Kaufman Law with the
names, addresses and telephone numbers of all the witnesses. Mr. Kaufman or someone from
his staff or private investigator will interview each witness and either tape record the interview,
or reduce it to writing in some way. If the witness is very important to the case, Mr. Kaufman
may decide that it is advisable to file a lawsuit so that the testimony of the witness can be taken
and preserved for trial.
